The new February 2011 newsletter is out. I do hope you’ll take the time to read it. Buttons and Bows is taking nominations for a complimentary newborn session (or any individual session from the stages of birth through baby’s first birthday) for one deserving family in the Orlando area. Pardon the dust around here for the next few days – for the first time ever, Buttons & Bows has a new blog design and as time permits I’ll be pretty-fying things up with a platinum shine. Until then, enjoy the new digs (and a couple of sessions from January 2011). Hard to believe we’re already head-first into the new year and no slowing down! Thanks for stopping by… -Robyn

I’d say it’s hard to believe another holiday shooting season is in the books – but the minutes I’ve logged on this Mac since September say otherwise! Cards have been mailed and packages have been shipped and hand-delivered. It’s time to take a little bit of the season back for my own kids and family…
But right quick before I do, I wanted to share one last holiday photo peek from late in the season plus cards / card portraits from Christmas 2010. (Click the above image for a larger version.) I have some amazing clients, and I can’t thank them enough for their support – and their business – this year!
FYI – as crazy as it sounds, I now have ONE (yes ONE) date left for holiday 2011 sessions. (UPDATE: As of 12.30.10, that date is now gone.) Everyone took me seriously when I said on Facebook that I was cutting back a bit in 2011 (because I’ve been promoted to technical editor at Professional Photographer Magazine), and my regular clients booked early. So if you’d like a holiday session in 2011 – and you have Sunday, October 16, 2011, clear – get in touch with me via the CONTACT FORM now!

And in case you missed the news on Facebook, I’m excited to announce that I was recently promoted from freelance columnist to ‘technical editor‘ with Professional Photographer Magazine. You can see my name in the masthead (page 4), starting with the November 2010 issue. And expect to see me in all 12 issues of Professional Photographer Magazine in 2011!
